The Audio Technica AT4033CL was originally introduced in 1991 and almost singly-handedly shaped the market for high-quality, affordable studio condenser mics. The new Audio Technica 4033 Classic brings it all back, with a cardioid polar pattern and a vapor-deposited gold-plated aged-diaphragm capacitor element for accurate reproduction of even the subtlest sounds. The AT4033CL has an extended flat frequency response of 30-20,000 Hz, a wide dynamic range, and the ability to handle high SPLs without sacrificing high-frequency performance.
